The webpage of the CFF allows you to easily plan your trip to Fribourg by train.

By plane
The two main international airports in Switzerland are in Geneva and in Zurich. They are both located roughly 150km from Fribourg. Both have train stations from which you can get direct trains to Fribourg (for more information: Geneva Airport / Zurich Airport / CFF). The closest airport to Fribourg is the airport of Bern. Only very few cities have direct flights to this airport.

From Fribourg to the conference venue
From the train station of Fribourg, there are 3 bus lines which go directly to the conference venue:

• Bus 1 (direction Marly, Gérine), stop at "Pérolles, Plateau-de-Pérolles"
• Bus 3 (direction Pérolles, Charmettes), stop at "Pérolles, Charmettes"
• Bus 7 (direction Cliniques), stop at "Pérolles, Charmettes"

From there, signs will guide you to the building where the conference takes place. Notice that the train station is only 1.5km from the conference venue.

The city of Fribourg also has (electrical) bikes that you can rent (you need a credit card). There is one station close to the train station and one close to the conference venue. More information can be found here: https://vintage.publibike.ch/fr/stations.html?aboId=34.

Accommodation

The tourist office of Fribourg has pre-booked 80 rooms at different hotels in Fribourg for conference participants.
